Terms & Conditions

Please read our full terms and conditions.

  1. We will only provide information which is a matter of public record. We do not store or keep private information on third parties and do not pass on private information. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
  2. Information provided by us is to be used strictly for lawful purposes. We will not undertake a search or provide information if we know it is going to be used for unlawful purposes.
  3. Payment of the basic search fee is £99 (currently discounted to £50 plus VAT). This payment must be received into our account before we will undertake any search. If the search is a complex one or entails additional work you will be notified and given the opportunity to continue with the search at an agreed rate. If, as a result of the search, we find cases you will be charged £5 per case plus photocopying charges set by the Employment Tribunal Service (set out at 7 below).
  4. The information which you give us (such as your details and any details of the party you would like us to undertake a search) will be received in professional confidence. The only exception to this would be if a statutory or other legal requirement caused us to disclose information which we have received from you to governmental or other regulatory authorities.
  5. We will undertake all reasonable efforts to ensure that public documents/information given is accurate. However, we will not accept liability for any inaccurate public documents/information.
  6. We hope that you will be happy with the professional services we provide. However, if you are not satisfied, you should first refer the matter to us to investigate.
  7. By instructing us, you agree to indemnify us, on demand, for copying charges incurred. We are charged a flat rate of 20p per page by the Employment Tribunal Service. This is the fee that we must pay to obtain the paperwork and we do not make a profit from photocopying charges.
  8. Interest at 8% is payable on unpaid disbursements.
  9. The contract we are making between us will be governed by English law, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
  10. By instructing us you agree to the above terms and conditions.

Mr Turner and Partners are regulated by the Law Society; whilst Mr McCarthy is regulated by the Bar Council. Both Mr Turner and Mr McCarthy wish to point out that Serial-Litigants.com is a completely separate entity to both Partners and Cloisters. It is not, by itself, regulated by either the Law Society or the Bar Council.
